1. Material insights
The Celine Macadam Canvas also known as the Triomphe Canvas is a coated jacquard blend paired with smooth leather trims. Its signature repeating “C” motif comes in classic tones ranging from honey brown to deep chocolate and black.
Each version develops a unique patina over time, aging beautifully when cared for with attention and consistency.
2. Preventive habits
- Keep your bag dry, the coated canvas resists light moisture but excessive water or heat can warp the surface.
 - Avoid color transfer, keep it away from dark denim or printed fabrics that may leave stains.
 - Distribute weight evenly, use both handles or the strap to prevent stretching or uneven wear.
 - Store standing upright, avoid hanging the bag to prevent handle creases and structural distortion.

3. Cleaning & conditioning routine
Canvas surface:
- Wipe gently with lukewarm water and a touch of mild soap using a soft, clean cloth.
 - For deeper cleaning, use Saphir Omninettoyant Cleaner, diluted with water.
 - Apply with a sponge, wipe away residue, and allow to air dry naturally.

Leather trims:
- Nourish using Saphir Médaille d’Or Renovateur or Saphir Nappa Cream, depending on the finish.
 - Renovateur for standard smooth leathers, Nappa for delicate or lighter trims.
 - After application, buff softly to restore natural sheen.

Metal accents:
- Clean with a dry microfiber cloth only avoid water-based or abrasive cleaners that may dull the plating.

4. Storage & protection
- Lightly stuff your bag with tissue to help maintain its shape.
 - Store in a breathable dust bag never plastic, as it traps humidity.
 - Keep in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or yellowing.
