By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before browsing or purchasing any item.
1. About Re-Lovation
Re-Lovation is an independent reseller specializing in authentic, pre-owned luxury goods. We are not affiliated, associated, authorized, or endorsed by any of the brands we sell. All trademarks, logos, and brand names remain the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the items offered.
Each item is carefully authenticated, verified, and presented with full transparency regarding its condition and provenance.
2. General Use of the Website
By using this website, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.

Not attempt to copy, scrape, or redistribute website content or imagery without written consent.
Re-Lovation reserves the right to restrict access or cancel accounts that violate these terms.
3. Orders & Payment

All prices are listed in euros (€) and include VAT where applicable.

Orders are subject to item availability and confirmation of payment.

Re-Lovation reserves the right to cancel any order in the event of pricing errors, payment issues, or suspected fraud.

Once payment is confirmed, you will receive a detailed order confirmation by email.
Accepted Payment Methods:
We accept major credit cards, iDEAL, PayPal, and other secure online payment methods as indicated at checkout.
4. Product Descriptions & Authenticity
Each Re-Lovation piece is unique and described with the utmost accuracy.
However, please note:

Colors and textures may vary slightly due to photography, lighting, or monitor settings.

All items are pre-owned and may show minimal signs of wear, which contribute to their character and authenticity.

Measurements are approximate and provided in good faith.
All products are authentic and verified by our in-house experts.
Re-Lovation guarantees authenticity or your purchase will be fully refunded.
Authenticity & Condition Guarantee
Because Re-Lovation specializes in pre-owned and vintage items, each piece has lived a previous life. For this reason, we cannot provide a warranty on the future condition, functionality, or lifespan of a product.
All items are sold “as described and as is.” Signs of age, use, or minor imperfections are considered normal and do not constitute defects.
Re-Lovation guarantees the authenticity of every product offered.
If you ever have doubts about an item’s authenticity, please contact us immediately.
We may arrange verification by an independent expert or third party if necessary.
If an item is proven not authentic, you are entitled to a full refund.
5. Returns & Store Credit
We want you to love your purchase. If it’s not the right fit:

You have 14 days from the delivery date to request a return.

All items must be in original condition, with all Re-Lovation tags intact.

Once tags are removed (“No Tag, No Return”), the item cannot be accepted.

Returns are eligible for store credit only (valid for 12 months).

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Inspection Requirement:
Customers must inspect their order upon arrival and report any issue within 48 hours.
After this time, items are considered accepted as described.
Non-Returnable Items:

Personalized or sourced items via the Personal Shopper Service.

Try & Buy items once purchased.
-
Sale or final items, unless legally required under EU consumer law.
6. Try & Buy Service
The Re-Lovation Try & Buy Service allows clients to view and experience selected items before committing to purchase.
Terms:
-
Available for selected items and by appointment only.
-
Clients may choose a complimentary video consultation (±15 minutes) or an in-person viewing.
-
In-person viewings within Amsterdam and a 10 km radius are free.
-
Outside this area, a fixed €15 travel fee applies, payable in advance.
-
Appointments are confirmed once payment (if applicable) is received.
-
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the appointment; otherwise, fees may apply.

During the in-person viewing, the item remains property of Re-Lovation.

If the client decides not to purchase, the item will be taken back immediately by the Re-Lovation representative.

If the client decides to purchase, payment must be completed on the spot or via the webshop.
Re-Lovation reserves the right to refuse or discontinue Try & Buy access in cases of repeated cancellations or misuse.
7. Personal Shopper Service
The Personal Shopper Service offers a bespoke experience in which Re-Lovation sources unique items based on your preferences.
Terms:

The service is available by appointment only and begins with a consultation.

Items sourced via this service are not eligible for return or cancellation, as they are acquired specifically on behalf of the client.

Once the client confirms an item, the purchase is binding.
-
Re-Lovation acts solely as an advisor and intermediary; all purchasing decisions remain with the client.

We cannot be held liable for external pricing or availability changes from third-party sellers or boutiques.
8. Limitation of Liability
Re-Lovation shall not be liable for:

Damages or loss after delivery.

Misuse, neglect, or improper care of items after purchase.

Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from website use or product ownership.
Our total liability shall never exceed the value of the item purchased.
9. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:

Providing accurate contact and delivery information.

Covering customs duties, import taxes, or fees related to international shipping.

Following care and maintenance instructions provided by Re-Lovation.
10. Force Majeure
Re-Lovation shall not be liable for any delay or failure in performance caused by events beyond our control, including strikes, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, or technical failures.
11. Intellectual Property
All content on the Re-Lovation website including product images, descriptions, and graphics is the intellectual property of Re-Lovation.
Reproduction or commercial use without written permission is strictly prohibited.
12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms & Conditions are governed by Dutch law and EU consumer regulations.
In case of dispute, customers agree to first seek amicable resolution directly with Re-Lovation. If resolution cannot be achieved, the dispute will be settled by the competent court in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
